Sellers: Find a Good Home for Your Used Equipment

Please click here to list an item for sale.

You need not be a member of the Weavers’ Guild of Rochester to place a listing and you may list items that are also listed on other sites like eBay and Facebook Marketplace.  We’ll ask for specific information on your item, such as asking price, whether shipping is available and the location of the item.  We’ll need your name, phone number and e-mail address, however this contact information will not be published.

You may upload one photo with each listing.  Make sure that it is in .jpg, .png, or .heic format and no bigger than 10 MB in size. Smaller is better.

Each item remains on the list for a year unless it is sold or you request removal.

Please contact us at equipment@weaversguildofrochester.org as soon as the item is sold.

Note that we do not list supplies like yarn or fiber.  We reserve the right to decline any listing.  We will edit for clarity or to avoid promotion of other services.  We will not estimate the value of an item, rather we recommend checking other websites, like the Weavers’ Guild of Boston, that list similar used equipment.

Please watch out for scammers who try to trick you into sending money.  The guild is not involved in any transactions.  Negotiations and payment are between you and the buyer.

If you have sold your item or have other questions, please contact us at equipment@weaversguildofrochester.org.

Buyers: Expand Your Studio

WGR maintains a list of used equipment — looms, spinning wheels and more — currently offered for sale.  This free service of the guild connects weavers and fiber enthusiasts looking to buy or sell used equipment throughout greater Western and Central New York.  The most recent are at the top of the list.

How to Connect with a Seller

To express interest in an item on the list OR to ask questions about an item, please fill out our Used Equipment Buyer's Form.  Your information will be forwarded confidentially to the seller, who will contact you directly. The guild is not involved in any transactions. Negotiations and payment are between you and the seller.

Thanks!

We are indebted to the Weavers’ Guild of Boston for the inspiration to provide this service.
